Christmas shot first
A certain kind of people like to talk about the "war on Christmas" as if their world-wide popular stolen pagan holiday was somehow being persecuted against, as if Christmas didn't shoot first, as if Christmas wasn't already waging a war against all other holidays and this year escaped the containment of November to invade October. As if Christmas didn't have a foothold in July. At this rate, Christmas is going to consume all the other holidays and be a year-round holiday within five years.
