Had my first Yiddish class last night. Of course, I am the only one there whose grandparents didn't speak fluent Yiddish or whose parents spoke Yiddish and used it to talk 'so that kids wouldn't understand'. The kanji study has slowed down somewhat. I have finished all the JLPT 4 ones, so now more and more often I am getting kanji that I recognize, but don’t really know any of the readings for or don’t know how to write.

Computer is not as dead as advertised. It is almost certainly a power supply issue, though, so that will have to be replaced.

So, a few weeks ago, while browsing through links on yookoso.com, I came across this site: smart.fm. It's a flashcard/learning site, and it's pretty neat as flashcards/learning sites go. I figured I might as well refresh my Japanese while there are still remnants of it floating in my brain. The only problem is I left my favourite textbook in Toronto (I think; it might be hiding somewhere in the Wall of Books in this apartment). Got a new edition yesterday on Amazon.
