Drake has lung cancer. According to my mom, he has a couple of weeks.
He will be the third (out of three) of my dogs to go down because of lung cancer. He has, at least, led a full and comfortable life. I'm going to go up to Jersey next week and stay with him for a while. Drake is the only one of our dogs that I actually like. We've had him since we moved out to Jersey, and for a Gordon he's lived quite a long time. I'll miss him when he's gone, and I hope I get up there before we have to save him from being too miserable.
