Even though I didn't vote for Obama, I was kind of relieved when I awoke this morning and found out HE won the election, instead of the other front runner! If the other guy had won, we'd lose much needed health care for poor folks, women would have lost rights over their own bodies, and within a year, we'd probably be at war with Iran.

Today was the first day of early voting here in Louisiana. Went to the local state office building to take advantage of it. Man, WHAT A LINE OF PEOPLE! Line started right past the metal detector, went down the hallway to the left, curving at the end of the hallway back to the right, all the way into the registrar of voters office ( Read more... )

Although I voted "third party", I am relieved to see McCain lost. Not sure I could handle a third "Bush" term.

Woke up around 8am this morning, immediately started working on the fubar HTML code that was the result of using Yahoo Sitebuilder to originally design my site. A couple of pages weren't even showing up in the "sites" folder of the program, but were still accessible via the program itself.
