Just got word from the attorney that I have been approved for SSI benefits. Wasn't approved for the full SSDI, even though there is NO WAY I'd be able to work without the occasional risk of blacking out, and I'd be having to take WAY too many days off for doctor visits and procedures. Guess it's time to find a SSI attorney. First, I was turned down for SSDI, now I'm denied SSI benefits. Both applications said I haven't earned enough "credits" working over the years. Can't figure on holding a job (even if I could find one) with having to constantly go see doctors and having those monthly procedures (Walmart let me go a few years ( Read more... )
