Just looked at my receipt from the Coney Island restaurant I stopped at on Smith Street on my way home from the grocery store earlier today. Noticed they gave me a senior discount. Seem to be getting those at various places lately without asking. Didn't even know the Coney Island even HAD a senior discount.

Miss the days when I could do stuff without getting exhausted. Just got home from the grocery store, and I'm tuckered out. I had been putting off going shopping, but it got to the point I was extremely low on food., so HAD to muster up some energy to go.

Two days after the last job interview, no call. Starting to figure one of the other three interviewed that day got the job. Also, the other three were younger than I am.

I know places aren't SUPPOSED to "age discriminate", but as Uncle Barrett said the other day, I'm sure they DO. :-/

Just did a little dusting/sweeping in the living room. Didn't take much to tucker me out. Think it was the squatting to get the low places.

Amazing that mom's cat "Booger" will be 20 years old in a couple of months!

It seems the older I get, the more I'm morphing into Don Rickles.

Got a card in the mail today with the ex-wife's name on it, offering her a Medicare supplement. She must be older than I thought she was!
