Last Wednesday, the sun was splitting the proverbial stones, and I'd hauled myself out of the flat to run a couple of errands in Wilton shopping Centre. From there, I felt inspired to keep on going, and I went through Bishopstown, along Curraheen Road, over the flyover to Curraheen itself, and thence to my semi-usual route to Killumney. More semi-token cycling this evening; didn't got very far again, but did go distinctly steeper; I decided to combine a trip a little way up the hill to do some can recycling with continuing further up it, then swinging back around Bandon Road. Finally got round to fitting that odometer/"bike computer", after much faffing around. Quite pleased with its assorted functions, not entirely thrilled with its method of fitting: cable ties that don't seem to make the neatest or more secure-seeming connections, and of course mean that moving or re-fitting means cutting and replacing the ties.
