Also, I did laundry. It was getting monsterly. But now I have clean sheets. :)

Yesterday I took care of my first resident, an old lady named FK. She's quite old, has PD and HTN among other things, but in spite of that she's quite sharp and hale. I woke up at 6:30 today in order to catch a 7:05 bus for my trip to Carol Woods. We've been having some really messed-up weather lately, ever since the fiasco on July 4th. I don't know what's going on with the local meterologists, but every single time I look at a weather report for our region it says "raining" or "storming," and then I look outside my window and it's brightly sunny. The CNA class is picking up pace. Yesterday we learned vital signs, and boy was that a busy day. But it was very productive -- I now know how to take a temperature in all four places (I'll let you guess where), how to take a pulse and count respirations, and how to listen to the heart with a stethoscope. My computer is okay!

My mom and I went to Best Buy last Saturday to get my laptop checked out. I was expecting some hardware problem, maybe just a fan break at best -- but as it turned out, it the problem was much simpler.
