The TAST stitch this week is sheaf stitch. It's an easy stitch. Somewhere in the back of my mind, I think, maybe, I see some good ideas for this one, but since the next two weeks will be kitchen remodel turmoil, I didn't come up with much.

My frustration thermometer is spouting red at the top! Why does everything simple have to become so complicated?

I had really hoped to have this summer to do some art and needlework. I was going to do the 21 Secrets art classes this summer. I was going to work on  several unfinished needlework projects. It hasn't worked out that way.

This week was Algerian eye stitch. I didn't do as much as I might have since I was caught up with Olympic games and although I intend to stitch and watch, I just watch most of the time.

I'm still painting walls & woodwork, and cleaning. It always takes so much longer than I plan/expect! There was also a three day birthday getaway this week. I did manage do a little  TAST, however.

I've been working in the garden and prepping the family room for painting (which included making a screen door for the odd sized door to the garden, so I can have some air when I paint), so I have done very little stitching. I did manage to do a little bit of last week's TAST, though.

I worked some more with chain stitch. I think I spent about three hours.

What do you do when you realize you did your stitches upside down? You improvise, that's what you do!
