Just got back from seeing Star Trek. An enjoyable movie, quite funny, although I honestly could have done without Nimoy. He, and that entire thing, just seemed kind of shoehorned in, as though J.J. Abrams was just determined to get an original cast member in there, by god. But it was fun.

The new issue of Previews arrived last week, and after a drought of several months, they are once again bringing the crack, with "crack" in this case meaning "craploads of Watchmen stuff.*

Went off to see Zodiac today with aka_paloma. Upon arriving at the theatre, I found that the entrance was taken up by a crowd of guys. None of them were there to see Zodiac. As I passed the mini horses on the way to work today, I saw that one of them was rolling onto its back and waving it wee hooves in the air, creating a perfect storm of cute.
