Gay penguin book shakes up Illinois school

Lilly Del Pinto thought the book looked charming when her 5-year-old daughter brought it home in September. Del Pinto said she was halfway through reading it to her daughter "when the zookeeper said the two penguins must be in love

I have a cute jingly beanie Xmas penguin hanging off my nametag.



I've named him Norbert. And he may very well be gay. Luckily, Ms. Del Pinto will probably never be shopping in our store so she may not have her homophobic foundations shaken further.

We actually sell them at work for about 5 bucks a pop. Besides the penguin, there's a dog, a bear and a "jolly elf" who looks suspiciously like Santa.
