a good day
Today was a good day. I participated in a study at the Cross Cancer Institute. It wont help me know, but hopefully it will help doctors treat breast cancer patients more effectively. I had to fast prior to the PET Scan, and when the first scan was completed I could have something to eat. The veggies and dip tasted wonderful. Everyone there was very at that CCI and I left feeling that my future treatments are in good hands.
My oldest daughter drove me to the CCI and spent the afternoon waiting for me. Afterward we went to a Stampin Up class. It was fun and for a little while things seemed normal. I think I will have to try and have fun every day and enjoy the "normal" stuff as much as possible. My kitties are all around me sharing the love seat, sleeping on the floor near my feet. Practically perfect.
