I heard this on a BBC Radio One Podcast. It featured this group called the Axis of Awesome who were performing at this year's Edinburgh Fringe Festival and they did a song called "4 chords". It's a medley of songs from the whole history of pop music and it proves how there are only 4 chords used over the years!

yes yes, I know, POTUS' chief speechwriter's first draft of the inaugural was probably massively re-written by POTUS himself but to be 27 and be on that team, working in that white house... makes one think what I'm doing with my life.
