ridiculous tech support
its nearly the end of the first of June. That's nearly half a year gone!
so i'm now sitting here in my "neighbourhood" starbucks down the road from my house at the mrt station. (that's the singapore version of the tube/subway to non-singaporeans who still check back here for updates!) why? 'cos my router got fried of my broadband link is down. (I doubt its the router. it still manages to get switched on.)
hilariously, the internet tech support desk for my ISP (Singnet, if you are interested) is only open from 8am to 6pm. and here's the message they play on their phone helpline. "As the technical support helpdesk is not open at this time, you may wish to consult our website for technical support."
excuse me but i'd have checked your damn website if i could get connected!
