Just watched the Bleach rock musical, so here's a long-winded, uninteresting post--be warned. Saien is pretty good, but I'm not a huge fan. It's too easy to make fun of for its extreme Japanese-yness...exaggerated, stylized poses and songs about love, power, and friendship. From a theatrical standpoint, I like it a lot more. Whenever I read a new manga or get into a new TV series, I am determined to find my favorite character. Does this urge strike other people? It's like a contest with all of the characters aiming for first place. Just watched the episode about Hatori and Kana on YouTube. Now usually I like manga better than anime, but in this case the anime did it right. I was already crying by the time Momiji-chan was telling Tohru-kun about Kana. She scene of Hatori's eye injury was heartbreaking. The quiet atmosphere before the storm. I just wanted to share this SUPERSQUEE about Locke's episode last night. I'm sure everyone else feels the same. I'm ticked that I don't have time to surf around lj today and see what everyone's loving about the ep, but I just want to thank J.J. for an episode that lent credibility to virtually every major fanon pairing. In my ever-intensifying quest to become more deeply involved in the Lost fandom and to potentially read upwards of 80% of all "published" Lost fanfiction online, I've come across this problem.
