The advice nurse said I'd need a tetanus shot because it has been "so long" (6 years) since my last one. The doctor said I don't need a tetanus shot because I'm up-to-date. Go figure. I'm glad I didn't need it though.

I just printed out a pattern from the Cat Bordhi site for baby socks as well as the stripey slippers and Oh'Alls patterns that I bought from Little Turtle Knits. I finished Niels' socks last night. He kept insisting on wearing the one finished one over his other socks. Yesterday he even wore it out of the house. Silly Niels. I kept saying to myself last night, "I'm almost done, I might as well finish it!" and then it was 1:30 am. Silly me.

I gave four knitted gifts this year, all of which were finished several days before Christmas. I did have help from Kristi, so maybe it doesn't count as me planning ahead, but I'm going to pretend that it does.

First the good news. I have finished my aunt's Clapotis! I think I'm going to block this one. I might even wash and block mine, while I'm at it. It measures about 65 inches, which I think is plenty long enough. I do have a bit of yarn left, so maybe I can get my act together and knit some little ornaments for our tree, since I'm done with my other ( Read more... )
