Actually, I have one craft picture you can see: a craft I messed up. I was going to make these whimsical quilted notecards as Christmas gifts. So easy! So cute! So "You really can't mess these up." according to the description. I proved them wrong.

I finally got around to trying the No-Knead Bread recipe the other night. I mentioned to Kristi that I was making it and she pointed me towards the Cook's Illustrated Almost No-Knead Bread so I made their Whole Wheat version tonight. My friend Trip taught me a perfect way for making chai. He boils 1 cup of water and 1/2 cup of milk (he used soy when he was here) and 1 tsp of sugar and then adds the tea and lets it steep. I'm thinking about it and I do make Shepherd's pie. That's kind of like a sheet meatcake. I don't try to make it look desserty, though, that's the difference.
