Quiet...
It's such a weird feeling for me not to have to work today. Yes, I'll be working my tail off in the play tonight, but it's a different kind of work. Artistic work and job work are worlds apart. Thankfulness
I actually have a lot to be thankful about. Among the things that I have been gifted with all my life - or, at least, for significant portions of it - I can be thankful for several more recent things, as well. Here's a list, since I like making lists:

It seems that I've gotten a bit lax about updating my journal. A lot of that is due to the fact that my computer has been acting up. The rest of it is by way of being tired and too busy to sit down long enough to work on it. No worries, I suppose ( Read more... ) -
Walking on Clouds
My head hurts right now. At least since Wednesday on, I've been dealing with flem-based problems. Overall, I was able to deal with it as I normally do, and was alright, for the most part. I am definitely a playwright, seeing as how I've just finished writing the one act that I'll be directing this next semester. Anyway, in other news, today/yesterday marks one month until my birthday. It Is Done...
Well, the play is over. This was a very good run and I don't think I'll forget it all that easily. Despite all the exhaustion, this has been a wonderful experience. I'm grateful for the opportunity to work with very talented people and the chance to grow closer with my friends in the cast and crew. Tonight was the Starving Student Preview for The Man of La Mancha... it went off wonderfully. The audience was estatic and gave us a standing ovation at the end.

Men of La Mancha
This play is sitting too heavily upon me. I'm finding that I share a great deal with my character and the themes of the play. Even the songs themselves seem to rip at my soul and I'm too slow to patch it up before more is ripped. -
The Glorious Act of Updating
I was very much surprised to find a white hair in my beard today. It resembles a thinner form of fishing wire. Naturally, I'm slightly bothered by it's presence, but I suppose it's not necessarily that uncommon. It's just very weird for me, personally.
