Had a good, if busy weekend. Saturday was errand day - I brought the car in to have its battery looked at, returned a ton of bottle and cans that had been stacking up, and bought a new dress and flats for a wedding I'm attending this coming weekend (it's been a while since I attended a wedding, and my old flats have kind of fallen apart in the ( Read more... )

I brought both cats in for their annual rabies shot yesterday, and while Goblin has finally gained a little weight (yay!), Audrey continues her downward streak, and now weighs less than Goblin for the first time ever. ( More on Audrey's medical woes. )

So both my cats are now a little over 15 years old, and it's hard for me not to be aware (possibly hyper-aware) of their mortality. Saturday, I brought Audrey in to the vet because she seemed to be losing weight/getting more boney, and I was concerned she might have a hyperthyroid condition, since her last tests indicated she might be heading that ( Read more... )

Today I discovered that one of the cats had pissed on one of my shoes. *sigh* Either they're annoyed that Bob is out of town right now, or they're annoyed because my suitcases are out, which usually means I'm leaving sometime soon. Or maybe it's both. Whatever the reason, they're lucky I don't know which one of them did it....

April really did seem to fly by. Let's see, what have I been up to since my last update?
