i had a totally bizarro experience today - holy shit. my job sent me to tutor child actors on a hollywood movie set. what??

i was given instructions to arrive at a hotel in the old port at six bloody a.m. (got maybe three hours of sleep), where i was picked up by a van filled with the other tutors. then i went to this set in the woods ( Read more... )

in the l-hole. i could only feign interest in my mother's home decorating shows for about ten minutes, so now i find sanctuary in the internet. i made my mom a really beautiful book yesterday and gave it to her for her birthday, but i don't think she really appreciated it. she basically reacts to my crafts in the same way she did when i was five ( Read more... )

so i moved my shit (well, most of it) out of clark st yesterday. i am eternally indepted to cathy for lending me some wheels and chelle for helping me out and carrying boxes in the heat and keeping me calm in crazy traffic (it took us about 40 minutes to get out of centre sud and into the plateau because the gays were running a marathon). we ( Read more... )
