Today is so fucking hot. I think this has been he hottest day this far his year. And today in general has been pretty lousy. At least this morning was. It got better after lunch. Today was just a really fucking good day. There were lots of things that contributed to it being good; the obedience & general good-girl-y-ness of my Princess, my father's enjoyment of his birthday cupcake, pizza dinner, work-less classes, and long lunch hour... It was all great.

Yesterday, for the first time ever, I went to the fair. I didn't get to do a lot of things in my childhood that seem to be considered standard fare (candy, cartoons, scary movies, amusement parks), so my Princess has taken it upon herself to educate me by doing everything now. I can never tell what's going on in Ultrasound images. It just looks grainy and black, and I have to wonder if that's what I actually look on the inside. Full of black voids and shaded wrinkles. An unpleasant thought, really.
