Go here to eat. 12-ounce ribeye for $8, and it's good (both probably more due to the fact that it's an indie joint in Cowtown than any special effort). It has an attached bar and an oil derrick for a sign/theme, both worth extra points in my book.

I've had a hardhat for awhile as part of my TF2 Engineer cosplay, but it was probably compromised via the modifiations to make it sit low on my head like the in-game model. Saw two wrecks today on the way to school. One, they had the eastbound side of I-30 blocked off all the way through town, but I couldn't see the cause; the other was an overturned 18-wheeler on the state highway, with two cranes just arriving to lift it upright. I was running late, though, so I didn't stop to take pictures.
