David Tennant driving the reasonably-priced car on Top Gear. I have yet to watch it myself, as I'm going to watch the whole episode, but the half-second clip or him in the opening credits looks hilarious.

I'm building a replacement vent window for Jeffie's car. Went down to Home Depot and bought a sheet of Lexan, ignored all the internet forum posts on how to cut it (use a jigsaw or Dremel cutoff wheel, go slow, and pour water on it), and instead put the smallest-toothed blade I had in my cordless reciprocating saw and leaned on the trigger. Saw two wrecks today on the way to school. One, they had the eastbound side of I-30 blocked off all the way through town, but I couldn't see the cause; the other was an overturned 18-wheeler on the state highway, with two cranes just arriving to lift it upright. I was running late, though, so I didn't stop to take pictures.

We found a Hudson at a extremely-used-car lot. It's not a Hornet, not even one that shares a wheelbase with it, but it does look the same, just six inches shorter. Hey, it'll be easier to park.
