Wow I'm so offended. Regurgitated Skittles everyone.
In other news, the Amish video in class today was really fascinating, and makes me want to read that "Amish Children" book i have leftover unread from Anthropology. Sometimes I think Dan and I forget that Jerry is in his 70s and is not just another kid in our class. How cool. This only reiterates my dream of being a professor - I could be a student forever. I LOVE IT. The more I think about teaching college, the more I like the idea.
I am tired. I haven't REALLY felt it all day until i tried to get my homework done though. Haha. I finished my Religion paper that i'd been procrastinating on at like, 4:30 AM and was asleep by 5. It turned out really well though, my affinity for complicated sentences aside. I hope I do well!!! I slept from 5-8ish, and then went to breakfast, and slept from like 9:30 to 11. After lunch at about 12:15 I told myself I'd sleep a little more because i was only at a grand total of 4 and a half hours, and so I laid down, but within a few minutes my thoroughly entertaining roommate came in and I was way more interested in chatting with her than sleeping. But now i'm trying to read Wesley, whom I think is sweet, but Dan is dismissive of and annoyed with. *heavy eyes*
We got out a little early today from class, so I wandered over to McWethy to check out Alex and Whitney's senior art shows. I then glazed my two mugs, and carefully added some detail to the southwesterny one that was like, SO dry... that thing begs to be bisqued. I washed the messed up glaze job off the one, and hope to get back to it soon before Doug has a firing. I am praying "favorite mug" won't turn out ugly - i've never done that glaze combo before... scary!
Before dinner Julia and I took a wandering walk around campus to kill time, which was pleasant given the weather. We stalked future rooms in Bowman! SO BIG! Roush and Danielle were nowhere to be found in PR, so we stopped by McWethy and grabbed my notebook, and checked to see if Ian was in his studio. alack the day, it was empty.
DINNER! We sat with PEOPLE! Julia and I invited Connect Floor to come sit with us, and that was a lot of fun as Maggie B joined us as well. Then the normal friends came, some decked out in CASA garb, and to our pleasure, with them came Colin and Kaylie too! What a great mix of people and what a fantastic dinner!
I should really read now. I need to get to bed within an hour or two.
