Thomas Burman is coming to speak at SLU! That's so exciting!!! My last paper on Llull and this next paper on interreligious debates that I'm writing have both been on topics DIRECTLY related to what he's coming to talk about - Christians studying Islam in Spain! I have his book, Reading the Qur'an in Latin Christendom RIGHT here sitting next to me! I can't wait for his lecture!!!! I couldn't ASK for a speaker more relevant to my interests at the moment!
