Friday!
No more class for two days... And I'm already done with my Monday paper! Do you know what this means?! I get to do research all weekend!!! Not that exciting. But Casey and I have made plans to maybe do the zoo too? We'll see how cold it is. Casey wants to see the giraffes and gorillas. We didn't see them last time.
Getting up at 6:30 when it's dark sucks. How does Casey do it? Oh, cause he's getting paid to. I'll be glad to set the clocks back, but then again I'll be sad that it'll be darker earlier. I hate shorter days.
Lets see what's new recently. Last weekend I went to the Manuscripta conference, and as my professor said today "now you have seen what a big group of manuscript scholars sounds like" and, they look old. But some of the topics I found very interesting, even though all the speakers were hard to hear/understand.
We also fixed my bike this week! YAY! Casey and I drove it over to REI to get the tire fixed, they had no bike person there, so we decided just to shop at Target, and then decided at Target that we could fix it ourselves! It was much easier than I imagined. And now, if I get a little hole, the tire will fix itself! Theoretically. Woot.
Been doing a lot of reading. I have fashioned a little reading pillow mat to lay on out on the floor for when my back gets tired from sitting in my desk or on the couch reading. My brain on the other hand, has no relief but advil for the occasional reading headache.
Speaking of reading, last week Danielle and I read outside at the Fountains by Art Hill! It was so beautiful out!

It's officially cold and chilly and Autumn out. I am very frustrated at the amount of gray clouds I've been seeing outside. Sun please! I want it to be sunny not only because then it's pleasant out and I feel happy, but also because then the bright morning sun heats the apartment and we have no need for our heater, thus saving us electric bill money. We haven't had on heat or air in days! That's been nice.
