Today I went on a beautiful hike with Mom, Dad, and Joey at 3 Sisters. I wanna do that one again soon, but with my camera, because there's a really great aspen grove I'd like to photograph.
I spent a lot of time with my parents today actually. We also went out to sushi together at Kobe An, where Dad and I ungraciously dunked our edamame in the tempura sauce, and ordered way too many rolls. My fatty tuna nigiri was delicious though! YUM! And I have a lunch of avacado rolls waiting tomorrow.
Later we watched the movie Fool's Gold. I laughed often, but it really wasn't a very good movie at all. At least I was entertained.
I also packed up all my medieval history books and notes for St. Louis, put all the non-history books on the huge bookcases downstairs, and packed away all the notes and folders and crap I want to save in a box under the bed. I just can't make myself recycle all the hard work I put into those notes and papers just yet. It's time I start taking packing for St. Louis seriously considering I have Casey in, then Irelend, then St. Louis!
Also, Mom and I were talking, and when Casey is in, we're gonna do a fourteener! Exciting! I'll start working out now for it, and I should be ready for Mt. Bierstadt! I'm so excited! What a great adventure that will be! (Though the day after will be like the day after Samaria Gorge when our legs didn't work sometimes.)
