Still Quilting, and enjoyin the Colorado summer.

To test the limit of your patience, take six feet of millimeter long stitches out of finicky taffeta. Or keep your seams neat when taffeta is the most fray-ey fabric ever.

Taffeta, satin, t-shirt material, and fleece are not EXACTLY the most compatible fabrics, and I knew that when I was at JoAnn Fabrics, but I'm being patient with them, and other than that one (excruciatingly long) seam I had to take out, I haven't had any mistakes or setbacks or real problems with the fabric. There's just a lot of purple fray crap all over my floor.

I'm a little past half done... and it's lookin' GOOD so far!

Today I also took a walk with Mom and Joey in Alderfer. (too bad it's too far of a walk for squeaks.) Oh Colorado nature. You're so damn beautiful.
