Never thought I'd say this...

I never thought I'd say this, being me, but I'm COLD!!! *shivers* I had to set my laptop on top of my kotatsu! I hope the computer doesn't overheat itself... I'm also glad I have an electric futon to sleep on, too. For those of you who sleep in regular, Western style beds with mattresses, the electric futon is similar to an electric blanket, except ( Read more... )

I had wondered about how much cold you could actually take... I never asked because I knew it wasn't my place to. Your bankai1 looks like it could freeze you to death - or at least would freeze to death a normal person. I've always been impressed with Daiguren Hyourinmaru.2.

I can't afford an electric futon, so I did buy the electric blanket, instead. I sleep on top of it, with non-electric blankets on top of me, to insulate the heat. I find that sleeping with someone also helps. An extra body in the bed warms it up faster than any electric blanket! Don't you agree, Captain?

((OOC: For you those of you unfamiliar with Bleach ~ 1) "Bankai" is the second and final release of the sword. A shinigami's sword has two releases - a shikai (first release) and bankai (second/final release). The release is what it sounds like - power is released. It can also be thought of as a "mode." 2) Daiguren Hyourinmaru is the name of Toushirou's bankai. (Yes, it has a name.) Literally, it means Great (Dai) Crimson Lotus (Guren) Ice Ring (Hyourinmaru), ( ... )

Thank you, Abarai. Yes, I can take extreme cold temperatures, but it doesn't mean I enjoy it, necessarily. My bankai will never kill me, hurt me, or freeze me. It's an advantage, I suppose, to all cold-temperature based attacks. It would kill anyone else, normally, unless they're exceptionally powerful. Like Kurosaki...

Uh, can't say I agree, Lieutenant, as I don't share a bed with anyone. I've always been quite modest about that. I don't mind sharing a room with others, as long as I get my own futon...

{{Jeez, he makes things difficult...}} What's wrong with sharing a bed? Lots of people do it - it's completely normal. {{...and he had to mention Ichigo... Seriously, if that guy takes away my second crush, I'm gonna be pissed!}}

Completely normal? What the hell are you talking about, you idiot? You're a lieutenant. I thought you had your own place, like the other lieutenants... Even those who voluntarily share their beds who have their own place only do so with very close friends, certain family members, or lovers. I'm not close to anyone - not close enough to sleep with them.

Ooh, you'd certainly hate the factory. It's always hot which wouldn't work for you at all.

{{Not to mention it's filled with candy, childish, and completely insane...}} *eyes narrow* I have to politely stop you from continuing, because I don't want to say anything offensive.

I guess that was my fault. I didn't need cheering up. I'm in a good mood! I love winter. I was just elaborating on how cold it was... I guess I also just wanted to clear up the notion I would go out in a blizzard naked. NO. Never going to happen... Just because I can tolerate cold doesn't mean I enjoy being cold. That's all I was saying. I love it cold outside, but being warm inside. That's my favorite.

Forgive my prying, but I've heard this "Soul Society" mentioned a few times now and I was curious as to what it was, exactly.

I believe most humans call it "heaven." It's where all good and redeemable souls go when they die.

Who are you, again?

I'm Nakaura Tomonori. *Gives a slight bow* My apologies for not indroducing myself before speaking.

I see. *Looks a bit thoughtful* Would that make you an angel then?

((OOC:Name was given in Japanese order.))

(OOC: Thanks! In the original Japanese, Hitsugaya refers to everyone by their surname without a suffix.)

It's the first time we meet, if I'm not mistaken, Nakaura. Apologies accepted. *doesn't bow* I'm like an angel, but actually my kind are called shinigami.
