I never thought I'd say this, being me, but I'm COLD!!! *shivers* I had to set my laptop on top of my kotatsu! I hope the computer doesn't overheat itself... I'm also glad I have an electric futon to sleep on, too. For those of you who sleep in regular, Western style beds with mattresses, the electric futon is similar to an electric blanket, except

I guess that was my fault. I didn't need cheering up. I'm in a good mood! I love winter. I was just elaborating on how cold it was... I guess I also just wanted to clear up the notion I would go out in a blizzard naked. NO. Never going to happen... Just because I can tolerate cold doesn't mean I enjoy being cold. That's all I was saying. I love it cold outside, but being warm inside. That's my favorite.

I feel the same way about fall, right when it's turning into winter. There is something nostalgic about the way the leaves die and are blown off the trees, collecting in nooks and drifts. I like the looks of bare tree branches, with the last few leaves clinging on.

It stopped snowing here, and it's raining now instead. The rain melted most of the snow, unfortunately. Now everything's super muddy. Just watch... it will be cold enough to snow again, and the mud will freeze over. That causes pretty dangerous conditions here.

I think that's why I like them so much. Reminds me of Life itself, and how the trees have their own spirits. We shouldn't take the spring and summertimes of our lives for granted.

Don't worry. I'm quite quick on my feet and very much at home on ice.
