I didn't expect to like it but it had some pretty funny stuff in it. Also the guy who was a snitch on NYPD Blue.

I never watched NYPD Blue, so I didn't recognize anyone from there. But yes, it was very funny, and I think fandom will love it if they just tune in.

I endorse it as well. Not quite the "yes, this is my show!" moment, but I'll be watching next week.

And you're instincts are right, it is single-camera.

My selling may have been a little harder than the quality warranted, but trying to get fandom to watch a new mid-season is hard. I think fandom could grow to love it if they just gave it a chance.

Point taken, and I think that, given a chance, the show has the potential to really grow into itself. Which is to say that all of the bits were there, just not quite singing in the pilot yet.

*nod* The critics were sent two episodes for introduction, and they seemed to like that one as least as much, so I have high hopes.
