So I'm going to whip out a it's-finally-good-and-spring HOORAY! post because, well, life has been pretty awesome. The plums and forsynthias are in bloom, I had a killer time hanging out at Turning Wheel with Jess and John and two other neat people that happened to wander in. We played Pass-the-Energy-Ball, which was a fun first. I am returning home

There's a strike? Hrm, first I heard of it. Plus, I'm confused. I got a message telling me about it, didn't bother me at all, but then again, I have perm accounts for both of my journals and my wife uses paid accounts.

Sounds like a neat bowl, but I never heard of Pass-the-Energy-Ball.

Mm, unless you believe in things like chi or reiki or psi energy or whatever, the game would sound pretty ludicrous. People would take turns making a ball of energy with their hands, either just a generic ball of their own or the ambient energy, or maybe they'd 'charge' it with a specific idea or element in mind, and we'd pass it around the circle and see if we could tell what their intention was and successfully guess it. Because I'm a long-time lurker around the edges of occult/pagan stuff, but a relatively new practioner/participant, it was a really cool confidence builder for me that I could successfully sense things or tweak things myself.

Ah, didn't realize you were into it. I managed to get Reiki II some years ago, about five years after I got Reiki I. Drifted out the pagan circles though in the last five or six years for various reasons, but I still remember a lot of it.

Sadly, I never really *felt* energy. People tell me I'm doing it, I just don't feel it.
