August on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) is Summer Under The Stars. Every day is devoted to one classic actor and some of their most memorable movies. Like today is James Coburn, Wednesday Judy Garland, Friday Bette Davis, Sunday Cary Grant, and so on. I'm a bit excited for Friday. Disneyland was a blast! I hadn't been in years where we could just slow down for more than a day to take it all in. Road Trip!
Taking a road trip. Driving down to La Verne, CA. LA area, east of Burbank and Pasedena, about 2 and a half hours from my house. writergrl Sarah Dessen(!) is doing a book signing, and I REALLY want to meet her. I think she's fabulous. I've read every single one of her books. I'm going to hit up a yarn shop or two on the way, and maybe the mall around ( Read more... ) -
Vampire Monkeys.
I hate it when people make u-turns in the driveway. I call it lazy. How hard is it to make a bloody three-point turn? Seriously.
Today involves grocery shopping, Target, Best Buy, movies (either this afternoon or tonight), and Starbucks. I'm treating myself, can't you tell? I need out of the house.
