Under the cut! :) Just some pics from the last couple of days photography :) First day out at Mumbles and Bracelet Bay - saw a guillemot, chaffinch, dunnocks, robins etc. Second day was out at Kilvey Hill. Saw a goldfinch, chaffinches, dunnocks, two red kites and probably either a chiff chaff or some sort of warbler.

That was a good interview! :D fingers tightly crossed.... It was actually with the overall manager of Swansea Job Centre... which was a bit nerve wracking, but actually it was the most at ease I've ever felt at an interview! Well... got a letter today from the DWP - I have a job interview for a temporary admin position at the Job Centre :) It's not something I'm likely to enjoy hugely, however, it's work. Also, it's government, so is excellent on the CV. Of course, the big downside is that it's only temporary. Anyway - cross that bridge when we come to it, need to be ( Read more... )

been a long, and very very enjoyable weekend. Lovely food and wine was enjoyed, and walks in Swansea's parks. Was really very pleasent! :) Got lots of pics of Clyne and Singleton... mostly macro of course *blush*.

Was a lovely weekend, so thank you hugely to Jayne for coming down, and I hope she enjoyed it as much as we did! :D

Tonight I watched Hotel Rwanda and I was deeply humbled. I knew what went on, at least, vaguely. I do remember some of it - but this just brought my vague memories of that time back :( I am shocked - and apalled. :(

BEST IN SHOW IS OURS oh yes!!! :-D

Cardiff was amazing - so hard... we were half dead by the end, btu it was just wonderful! It was wonderful to see someone take hom the viv trophy - nearly made me cry :*)

and then, to cap it all off... our gorgoeus Birdie got best in show and Peen got reserve best in show! :D I am soooooo chuffed!!!

Managed to get the trophy done today! :D It's just gorgeous - will put pics up in a bit. I am so pleased with it! It cost a fair bit, but I don't care! :D We couldn't really afford it, but we cut back on a few other things. Alltogether it's cost us £17.99 Not too bad I know, btu we don't have 17p to give away right now lol ( Read more... )

Am full and happy. and also expanding. as one does when one eats lots of crusty rolls and butter and other unhealthy things! :D
