What the boys don't seem to realise just yet is that it's not just Donna preventing the Doctor leaving. He really can't go anywhere while the TARDIS refuses to leave! She doesn't want to leave her boys just yet, I could hug her (though I'd need very long arms ( ... )

Gotta luv the TARDIS and Donna ! Both see and accept Jack and Ianto without reservation. Agree with you that the Doctor is jealous of the boys and can't see him openly accepting them yet - if at all !
The boys will always protect each other no matter what, and you are right that the Doctor will have a lonely future unless he sorts out things with Jack and Ianto, after all they are the only ones who will be a constant in his life - if he's prepared to accept them.

The Doctor isn't going to admit he's wrong, maybe Donna should just knock him upside the head with the nearest heavy object? Or maybe the TARDIS can drop him off somewhere people would be prejudiced against him, and see how he likes it?

Ianto is always going to defend Jack, because that's what you do for someone you love. It's just that there isn't that many who'd stand up to the Doctor. It's a shame, because if more people did stand up to him the Doctor might get the hint.

You're right, the Doctor isn't going to openly admit that he's wrong. I like the idea of Donna and the TARDIS double-teaming against the Doctor ! It's true that Jack and Ianto will always defend each other, and it is a shame that more don't stand up to the Doctor.

Great chapter! Really, although Donna was the only companion that didn't fall in love with the Doctor, she was the one who was most like a wife to him. Personally I am really hoping that the Doctor comes around and gets his act together. It would be a shame if the Doctor ended up all alone because he was too stubborn to reach out to Ianto and Jack. I am also suspicious that Gwen is being too quiet, when women like her turn quiet they are at their most dangerous. I am looking forward to the next chapter. :)

Thanks ! So true, Donna was very much like a wife to the Doctor, and the not being in love with him allowed her the 'freedom' to just be herself and say what she thought. Mind you I doubt much would stop her from speaking her mind !
A quiet Gwen is always a worry !

Good for Donna for taking the Doctor to task for the way he treated Jack and Ianto. Jack has always been totally loyal to him and he talks to him like he's garbage. Yet, Jack will always be right there to help any time the Doctor calls. It's so damn aggravating!

I have to agree with jakernaghan about Gwen being too quiet. She's got to be up to something, otherwise there's no way her nasty mouth wouldn't be flapping.

Someone needed to tell it to the Doctor straight! You are so right that it is aggravating the way Jack will always be there when the Doctor needs him regardless of how the Time Lord treats him....You never know maybe things will change now..As for Gwen...we will have to wait and see...
