Short fantasy
Finished and sent off to a publisher. I have worked on this story on and off, but I finally managed to whip it into a form that I'm very please with. Let's see if the publisher thinks so. -
Grading, and submission
Amidst a whirlwind of grading final papers, I've managed to work up the courage to submit my story to another publisher. Other than that I'm getting ready to my trip. -
My first rejection
Rejection is an awful thing. It hurts. I'm not sure I can get used to this. -
Spring semester woes
The Spring semester started well enough, except one of my students has contracted Hepatitis. He is in the hospital, and we hope he'll recover soon. -
Bad fiction or bad advice?

Desperate Measures
I finished the fourth chapter in my wip. After I go over it one more time, I'm sending it to my crit group. I took on the summer semester, but I'd still have more time to write. Hopefully I can finish the book before the year is out. -
Pretty awful novel

I picked up this SF novel last week because the reviews were good. It's a disappointment, and I stopped reading halfway. The plot meanders and includes a lot of unnecessary scenes, like many of the city scenes. But the worst annoyance was the the mangled English.
