First, because it's most important, I'm still looking for beta readers to chat about what they do on SpellCast! You don't have to be "certified" or anything, just someone who's done some beta reading and has Things to Say about it (and I'll bet that even if you don't think you have Things to Say, you will when asked specific questions). So poke ( Read more... )

spellcast, torchwood, heroes, the office, studio 60 etc, school

Hey! I know I wasn't able to do the last one, but if you're looking for beta readers, look no further... or at least know you've got one willing one! :D

I am actually certified by PI, but like you said... doesn't matter all that much. :D

Anyway, let me know when and hopefully I'll be able to make it.

Yay, I would love to have you on the show! Can you email me your general availability?

Can you tell me general days that you're looking at? My availability changes day by day so knowing if you're talking about this weekend or some evening is helpful.

Generally, I'm free weekday evenings after 6 Pacific, weekends are trickier. :)

I want to aim for a weekday to give the editors time to put it together before the release, but it'll depend on whoever else responds.

My beta had a question regarding when you would do this roughly - this week or next week or the week after?

This week, because the episode is scheduled to come out next week.

Hi! I'm putting together a roundtable discussion about beta reading for SpellCast, so what I'll need is about half an hour of your time. The actual discussion will only be ten to fifteen minutes long, but we'll need some time for the tech stuff. If you can record sound on your computer, I'd love to have you join; email me at zorb [at] fictionalley.org with your availability for the next few days. Ideally, I'd like to get it done Friday evening US time.
