I just wish I had enough money to meet MORE of y'all -- the Internet is a beautiful thing when it comes to bringing people together, but it also just highlights how expensive travel is, too. X^S

Wasn't the little girl who played young Mako freakin' awesome? That scene had me all choked up. The whole movie wildly surpassed my expectations - a real classic.

I love how everyone can agree that she was hands down the best actress/performance in the whole movie. PRECIOUS LITTLE THING, my heart was shattering for her.

IT'S A MOVIE ABOUT ROBOTS PILOTED BY LOVE THAT KILL MONSTERS IN ORDER TO SAVE HUMANITY BECAUSE HUMANITY IS WORTH SAVING. Most uplifting and optimistic and emotional action flick EVER. Bless del Toro and all of his magnificence. <3 <3 <3

Um, speaking of natural storytellers? I'm going to pull out the voice recorder at our next lunch session and replay it for you -- you're SUCH a flawless storyteller! And when you describe movies I feel like I've seen it for myself afterward .... then I come home and try to describe it to Derek and gets garbled at some point and he kind of scratches his head and says, "Huh?" LOL
