Out of the movies you listed, I've seen RED, The Losers, Captain America and Super 8 (all of them awesome). Haven't seen Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows yet, though.

I plan to catch up on my reading a bit more next year, but I did read Less Than Zero and Imperial Bedrooms this year. I plan on getting the two-volume Complete Sherlock Holmes collection sometime next month, and I'm looking forward to getting them.

And I need to figure out how I can kick-start myself into getting back into writing fanfic. So many story ideas keep bouncing around in my head, but I have problems translating those ideas to paper or computer monitor. Once I get past that hurdle, it'll be great.

Game of Shadows is THE BEST if you love canonical gayness. DEAR LORD THOSE TWO AND THEIR EPIC LOVE. X^D

When it comes to the fanfic writing, I think you should just pick a time when you can sit for a couple hours undisturbed, actually sit down, and just write the first thing that pops into your head. Don't overthink things too much; just write. That's the best advice I can give. :D

the problem with these things /reason i never managed to make one last year is that I CAN NEVER PICK ANY NUMBER OF AWESOME THINGS. I just watch too many movies and read too many books and the lists get endless :D I'll definitely try though.

If I managed to read/watch as much as you do (FOREVER IMPRESSED), I doubt I'd be able to do these as easily, either!

I loooove getting nostalgic and looking back over my year in fandom. It makes me feel oddly accomplished, you know? Like I didn't just waste my year. X^D
