So I guess after all the sound and the fury, Harlequin is not going to be making Lottery Odds a "must-acquire" title after all.  Too bad, really.  A publisher can always use another quality work, and I would have liked to have put a chunk of change toward a new roof for our house.  If they were interested in buying the novel, they would have

Two different forum formats. ;) The sentiment is appreciated, Jess. In all honesty, Harlequin probably would have wanted major edits and rewrites to the book anyway before burying it on page 19 of their monthly catalog, so maybe this is a blessing in disguise. I'd rather not fuck up my bay in the process of trying to birth it, amirite? We'll see how things shake out.
