Hawaii Five-0: still the gayest show on American television

May 06, 2012 22:48

I'm sorry for the spam, but. I just. Every time I think that it is inconceivable that H50 could possibly get any gayer, the writers seem to say, "WAIT, WAIT, IT'S NOT GAY ENOUGH, QUICK WE MUST MAKE IT GAYER!"

In case you actually care, I suppose these can be considered spoilers for episodes 2.20 and 2.21, but there's very little plot, just Gay. )

requisite steve/danny tag, gaaaaaaaaay, is this going to be forever?, is this real life?, television, feels i have them, h50

IDK WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, THAT ISN'T PINING OR HOPELESS FOREVER LOVE AT ALL

(Also, doesn't Steve have a security system installed? The writers probably forgot about that, but I choose to believe that Danny knows Steve's passcode. And, well, Chin too but shhhhh let me live this fantasy.)

Pffff, if Danny still has the key, he still remembers the security code. And Chin didn't have to do it because Danny disarmed it. I mean, you must be able to turn these, things off, right? (But yeah, no, the writer's totally forgot.)

GAY YAY! I was really bummed about the show for a while, and didn't want to watch it because I couldn't bear for them to screw up my characters any more, but I watched the last few episodes lately and they're really fun, if I don't think about them too hard. So I'm kinda . . . back with the program, as it were.

Although I'm still hung up on the woman who got a flat tire and was killed . . . the one who left home for her job as a crew member on a tour catamaran at around what, 6pm? I even ran it back to try to make sense out of that one, but they didn't explain it.

If my boss or one of my coworkers left on a family emergency, I would not call them every ten minutes, even IF they didn't answer my first 56 calls.

And he sits in the dark and rifles through Steve's belongings

Does Steve just leave that shit lying around? Even though housebreaking thugs have tried to kill him to get it? Or did he give Danny the combination to the safe, too?

Yeah, idk, I started out with the show super reluctantly in the first place, like, the writing has always been bad, 90% of the show is TERRIBLE, I was for real extremely embarrassed to be watching it for, like, half of the first season. Eventually I learned to embrace the terrible without shame, I LOVE THIS STUPID SHOW, NO REGRETS, etc. So, idk, I think the early season two stuff that left a bad taste in a lot of fans' mouths didn't affect me as badly, because I was already approaching the show with such low expectations to begin with. ...I admit, though, that stuff really was the show's lowest point, I mean come on, Steve and Danny are not the giant dicks the writers made them out to be. But that's all over now, EVERYTHING IS EXPLOSIONS AND CAR CHASES AND PLOT HOLES AND OHANA AND GAY AND NOTHING HURTS ( ... )
