Those are some classy words. I'm very pleased to see "sparrow", because a flock of sparrows descended yesterday and sat in a large . . . chrysanthemum-like thing in my garden, happily eating dead flower heads. They were all but driven from Dublin years ago by a huge influx of magpies, and it's lovely to see little birds coming back!
They have good taste in words, your kids, don't they? (Though how did you draw 'Jurassic'? Had they got it from ...Park?)
I'm glad that the presentation went so well, and that the mothers were so enthusiastic. Ok, even the quiet parents clearly love what you do, but it's so good for both you and the kinds to get that kind of open feedback.
I just give you the words they throw at me, we don't necessarily use them. It usually comes down to Teacher playing "eenie-meenie-minee-moe" to choose which word will be the team name. Some I will reject outright, "Teacher can't draw people!"
I was all about dragonfly and porcupine last night though. Drew them both.
