Seeing some of the people who get decent sciencey jobs, I'm convinced that you deserve better than decent.
I've wanted to play Oblivion since years before it came out, but my computer can't handle it... this may be a good thing, leaves me time to waste on other stuff ;)

My computer is pretty new and it still has some issues with Oblivion. The settings are on low, but the graphics are still gorgeous so I don't mind. The starting sequence just goes by in jags. Beyond that, it's great.

I would almost say that it not working is a blessing in disguise. It is pretty addicting, if a little overwhelming at first.

Mmm, addiction. I don't know how many times I played through the last Elder Scrolls game (Morrowind), and from what I've seen in screenshots Oblivion is an order of magnitude shinier. Maybe when I'm back home and settled I'll have a little time to waste on an addiction again. And if I'm really lucky, it'll be coupled with a bit of moneys to waste on a new computer... *hatchooo* aaw, I sneezed and blew away my whole house of straws ;)
