It was bound to happen...

So, while wandering through the fiction/literature section at Barnes and Noble's and lugging around my newfound treasures for my mini-library at home, I noticed that someone was edging rather close. Upon making eye-contact with what turns out to be a girl that looks a bit older than me, she asks, "Um, excuse me, can you look up a book for me?"

I was dying on the inside while I explained I didn't work there, but was flattered.

At home I'm writing again and so happy to have the time to do so. Almost have a chapter finished for the week! Squee! My goal is to get to chapter 8 this summer. Admittedly, it's not a lot to ask of myself, but better to set the goal low and meet, if not surpass it than to set it too high and get discouraged.

I also finished painting this thing a while ago, if you haven't seen it on DA already.

While not doing all of that productive stuff, I'm training my Pokemans. Bidoof. Beaver/poodle. The hell. That's all I have to say.

JESUS CHRIST, IT'S A BIDOOF AND IT'S WILD, GET IN THE CAR.

I can also be found in my pseudo-office area playing Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. That game scares the living hell out of me. It's the first-person point of view. Despite having my heart jump up and tag my tongue every few minutes, it's great fun all the same. I play a dark elf lady monk, which I suppose is technically a nun. She shoots things in the face with arrows or fireballs and spreads the good news of her presence.

Lastly, I'm being a crazy good Catholic and reading the Pope's Jesus of Nazareth book. I'm enjoying it, but it isn't exactly one of those things you can just tear through. Given the option, I don't think I'd want to. It's really led to some interesting thoughts that I'll have to jot them down in my paper journal tomorrow.

Woah, I made University Honors with my gradez. Yay. Maybe I'll get a decent sciencey job one day.

oblivion, science, pokemans, books, ratzinger, writing, bidoof, pretty vampire
