I went to his funeral today. There were at least 300 people there. I felt oddly calm, and resigned. I went to 1st thursday afterwards, and said a short haiku about him on the spur of the moment. I really liked the 1st thursday atmosphere, especially the pieces written by some of the people who participated, I'll definitely be back.

What exactly is a "break"? It's been described to me as something used for a) bad reasons to just hook up with random people (a.k.a. weeklong bachelor/ette party depending on how long it is), but I've also hear it described as b) used to figure out yourself, and try and experience new things and see if that person is really the right one for you, ( Read more... )

6 month anniversary of the light of my life and I is officially today. Whose pumped? me! On a side note, because of the corruption Its now 1:40 and I have still have History Notes to write for test, and the 8 page College evaluation sheet. Where did I go wrong!! He was my JV soccer coach, he was a mentor, he was someone I could look up to. I didn't know him very well, but he was a great guy, a fan of the ladies, funny, compassionate, and had so much left of life to live. More importantly, he was someone I counted a friend.
