My phone was no longer attached to my messenger bag strap when I got to campus today. It's probably in my driveway, but you never know

If you call your provider, you may be able to upgrade your lost phone for cheap or free. When mine broke they just sent me a newer model with a rebate and that was that.
Good luck, sucks to lose your phone. I lost mine on the oregon coast once (turned out it was in my room but still...)

Walking the dog on a summer evening (small children, cats, balls, dogs running loose) also feels like a video game. But a video game for old people, where you have a little more time to make a decision. May be if we were going to be late getting somewhere if we detoured too far, hm...?
Love the image of you bombing across campus. Do the sorority girls squeal and drop their books in their haste to get out of your way, lab reports flying away in the wind of your spokes?

Oooh, DogWalker would make a good game too. Especially with a force-feedback joystick that tugs you when the dog pulls. Heh.
Actually, I try to be pretty damn polite when I ride across campus. You're not supposed to ride in the 10 m inute between-class breaks, so when I do I try not to piss anyone off.
That's part of the fun though, how fast can you go without scaring anyone, figuring their walking vectors, anticipating other bikes coming from around the corners, and not impaling yourself on the anti-car posts.

...are scary. They became even scarier when I got underseat steering. The first month or two I was SURE that I was going to bang my knuckles trying to go between them, which would not only hurt, but crash my bike, at which point the collapsing bike would knock my skull against the post.
Now that I've got some positive history of not injuring myself, I'm not so unnerved anymore, but it really is a pretty tight space between them.

I was standing in the middle of the quad talking to a professor. We were both eyeing two bombers coming toward us from opposite sides. They played a game of chicken ... and lost as they both decided to take the south route around us and crashed into each other. Ohhh, the Gary Fisher carnage!

Heh. I haven't had or seen any spectacular wipe-outs yet. Sometimes it seems like a matter of time. Almost ran into the back of a car that cut in front of me on friday, skidded both wheels, but didn't fall.
