This is a post about good things. Allow me to enumerate:

Had a great weekend in Vancouver, including:

• learned lots
  
• met friendly, smart folks (including Jared Spool, who's insightful, entertaining, and approachable)
  
• Met a good friend of arielmeow, who was super cool
  
• Hung out with rwx and poupou et al.
  
• Ate a lot of really cheap, really good sushi, and some

I shall be keeping my fingers x'd for you and awaiting the outcome on tenterhooks. How long before you get to hear whether or not you get to travel? Is there just the one interview round?

Just one round of interviews, and I forget how long after that I'll find out. Then I'll have until the end of 2007 to depart.
