I forgot to ask you questions, Hans. I am remiss. (I assume you wanted some.)
1) So, since you mentioned your nephew, I assume you've got a... sister, was it? Any other family? 2) Can you cook? 3) What would say is your greatest character strength? 4) And your all-time favorite book if you have to pick just one? 5) Does religion or faith play much of a part in your life?
1) Ever considered yourself to be in love? (If so, with who?) 2) Do you have a middle name/what is it? 3) Name the thing you've done in life so far that you're most proud of. 4) Name something you're afraid to do. 5) [locked]How old are you?[/locked]
1) Where do you want to be in ten years, in terms of your life? 2) I know (well, I think) you'd say you believe in G-d. What G-d? Is He an interventionist G-d? 3) I saw you talking with Jean-Paul, that your brother's girlfriend gave birth. How's being an uncle? 4) When's your birthday? 5) How's your leg doing?
I want to be Out. Of. School. Dr. Webster, successful Dr. Webster. In my own home. In a relationship. In full possession of my faculties.
2. I do believe in God. I believe in a kinder, gentler, more forgiving God than some. And if by interventionist, do you mean that I pray for help and receive the strength to do whatever it is I need to do, then sure. I don't think God sits around waiting for me to ask him to let me win the lotto or some garbage like that, but I do think he gives us the fortitude to handle whatever he heaps on us.
3. Noisy. Smelly. Damp. Moist. Babies do disgusting things. But she's also cute and smells pretty good after a bath. She's about the size of a football, so I can tuck her into the crook of my arm and hold her little melon of a head in one hand. That's kind of cool. Compact human being.
4. May 12. I don't celebrate it any more.
5. I really don't like the cold. It hurts. It makes disturbing cracking and popping noises.
Feels like I'm running With my high heels on And they're chasing us waiting For it to all go wrong You're my umbrella against their Sticks and stones As long as we keep smiling They'll never know Put your brave face on Put your brave face on
1) You still in... Boston, was it, that you were going to visit? How is that? 2) What do you like most, and least, about being a redhead? 3) What made you get into glass-making? I mean, how does one pick that out of all the possible hobbies and think, "yeah, I'd like to take this up recreationally/professionally"? 4) What do you consider your worst character flaw? 5) What's one place you'd like to visit that you haven't yet?
Translation, s'il vous plaît-- I am too lazy to Google.
1) Do you speak any languages besides French and English? 2) I asked this of Peter as well, but: where do want to be in ten years? 3) What's the best part of having your speed? 4) Aside from gay and mutant rights, what, if any, political causes are near and dear to your heart? 5) Black licorice: delicious, or disgusting?
