If you're going to Portland, I'd say try out Imago Dei :) It's not Catholic, but it's home to Donald Miller, and supposedly a very welcoming place to worship :)

I've liked some of your "didactic" poems, but this one does feel vague to me. I liked stanzas 4-6 the best, I think.

Yeah, those are the most interesting. I'm thinking I should either rework the last three stanzas or cut them out altogether. Making that point was important to me, but if I can't figure out how to say it poetically maybe I had better not.

St. Andrew is just down the road from me! It is beautiful, at least from the outside.(I like empty churches best, so I'm always happy when I find one unlocked not during services, so I tried the door the other day--no luck.) I think I might go to Palm Sunday there.
