*hugs* back. I was sorry not to see you last weekend, when I was closer to your neck of the woods.
Non-standard breakfast foods are a Good Thing indeed. I'm fond of noodles, either Asian/pacific rim or Italian, sandwiches, and practically any leftovers that were good the night before. But for sheer defiance of childhood taboos and grabbability while running out the door, cookies are my favourite.
Back in my more omniverous days a favourite post-Thanksgiving or post-Christmas breakfast was hot turkey-and-stuffing sandwich with gravy.
Nothing beats home made chocolate chip cookies.. I have been known to scarf them myself (when I am feeling peckish or needing comfort breakfast foods). Or some of my molasses ginger snaps... yum. We had few sweet desserts in our house when I was growing up.
Which weekend were you down? I was busy with Arisia MLK weekend, runnning two areas...insane. When's the next trip planned? Would be lovely to spend time with you.
Mmmm...molasses ginger snaps! You and I are clearly breakfast compatible.
I was down this past weekend for M's birthday and the Snow Ball. With the Snow Ball and Mostly Waltz it was a pretty full weekend. I don't have another trip to Boston planned for a bit, because he's going away, then we're meeting up at the Flurry, then it will be March, and I have no idea what happens next.
